Can i run eclipse on mac

Mon, 09 October Hi everyone: I downloaded java 8 and the latest version of Eclipse but I can't use it. Every time I double click on Eclipse icon and hit run it says : "An error has occurred.

See the log file. I tried to run an older version of Eclipse Neon. And I tried several stuff on terminal that I have found on the web. None of them solved my problem.
