How do see who unfollows you on tumblr

Look up the XKit extension pack. I don't think it automatically includes the follower checker when you install it, but you can add it with ease. It tells you both whom you follow that doesn't follow you back and anyone who unfollows you after you install it.

EDIT: here's the Chrome extension. We just extended our Twitter app Friend or Follow to allow people to see who's not following them back on Tumblr, and vice versa. You might be interested in it. I very much doubt it is possible without using Tumblr's API.

Seeing that Tumblr pages this data, it would just not be feasible to create a bot that monitors this list constantly without the API. Of course you can also just use your own application locally utilizing the following calls.

Missing E used to do this but they had to shut the functionality down at Tumblr's request. No idea who else has this feature. Depending on the size of your followers list and how well you remember your followers' usernames, you may be able to keep track of who unfollows you by checking the number of followers you have and going through the list to see who's missing when the number reduces.

You can quickly check to see if an individual user still follows you by entering the username in the search field on your followers page and pressing the "Enter" key.

Tumblr displays a pop-up notification below the search field letting you know whether the user follows your blog. If you have a followers list that's too large for you to keep track of at-a-glance, or if you'd like to keep track of your followers list in hard copy form, you can create a spreadsheet in your preferred spreadsheet program for this purpose.
