It has definitely done me good for a long time. Pros: - Low price! Has very nice fit and finish with a good amount of features for this price point. Overall Review: - A bit noisy without a motherboard that supports all your fans since it doesn't have much for sound dampening. I suggest picking up a fan controller if you want to keep it somewhat quiet. If you don't have a modular power supply, you'll end up bundling cables under the HDD bays, otherwise you won't be able to get the back panel on.
This case really made it look awesome. Pros: well build case for the price plenty of room good airflow also the reusable power supply dust filter is nice tool less HDD bays that support 3.
Cons: the way the case was packed in the box leaves me to believe it was a return item as the front plastic panel was was facing up and not to the side. Since the front plastic tabs were destroyed during shipping it no longer stays on the case. As for the rest of the case its fine no damage to the metal side panels or the frame itself since its out of stock now its not worth the hassle to return and i was going to mod the case anyway so its not a problem.
Overall Review: i would recommend this model case as its well build for a budget build case if i ever build another budget workstation i would buy this case again if it was still available. Cons: The Rosewill name on the front of the case.
I build custom systems and it makes it look like a Rosewill computer. Overall Review: Threw some old stuff in here with an Asus Rog. Card and two m M2 drives. Am happy with purchase. Was surprised how fast I had it running. Pros: This is not a premium case, but in it's price range it is more that you could hope for. Plenty of room to work and parts are not crowded see Cons. Easy to dress and tuck cables.
Excellent air-flow. No sharp edges. Plastic drive trays are of better quality than some name brand computers I work with. Cons: I have purchased "full tower" cases that were smaller than this. Clearly, they are filling in a market segment with this label as there is nothing "mid" about it.
That said, it's not burdensomely large and I'm actually pretty pleased with it. Overall Review: I can definitely recommend this case - if you are not space constrained. Spacious Interior: This mid tower case boasts a roomy layout, 7 expansion slots, a 5. Roomy Interior The interior space is big enough to accommodate large-sized components, supporting up to mm high CPU cooler and up to mm long VGA card. Perforated Front Panel The front panel features perorated design to increase airflow for better ventilation. Verified Owner.
Did you? Yes No. I love minimalist cases; I'm less a fan of windows and LED's and more a fan of a classy, flat, unassuming computer case. The Cullinan gives you the best of both worlds if you're like me I didn't know how I'd like it, and was slightly concerned on thickness and how sturdy it could be, but I don't have a sound meter to test actual dB ratings, but after connecting the rear exhaust fan to the built-in fan hub and running all the included Rosewill LED fans on High, they were barely audible over general room noise which is supposedly around 35 dB or so with no other sounds, such as TV or music playing.
They do move an acceptable amount of air; since they're so quiet, I can accept some loss on airflow. They'll do the job without really being noticeable, that's for sure. If you run them on Low, you're not going to hear them or see them at all, but I can't say I'd run them on Low while gaming or running a system on mid-to-high CPU load, but that depends on other factors too like CPU make, overclock, and HSF.
They are very bright, but due to the tint on the glass, it's subdued more than you'd think and actually looks very nice. Identical in performance to my S, mentioned below. The Cullinan also has room for 1 more SSD and 1 more 3. Thank you!!! Cons: - The expansion card "slider" holder piece really has to be removed to install a graphics card or other expansion card easily. Luckily, it's just 1 thumbscrew, and it pivots and comes out the back of the case.
You could try to wedge a card in there without taking that out, but I wouldn't recommend it. That may or may not be a 'con' to you. It's not too terribly bad though. The glass and the design is just beautiful. There is a Rosewill logo etched in white at the bottom of the front panel, but it barely shows up with the case fan LED's fully lit. Keep this in mind. Both cases are very nice; I don't own a X RGB but from what I've seen, it's very similar internally to the Cullinan, except it has 3 full RGB fans instead of 4 blue LED only fans, and the right side panel behind the motherboard is a blank steel panel instead of glass.
I do think the Cullinan offers better internal cable management than the X RGB, so if a cleaner inside is more important to you than "other than blue colored" fans, well, the Cullinan is definitely a better choice. Again, I don't hesitate to recommend the Cullinan, but, compare it to the X RGB and see which is more preferable for you.
I'm very impressed with the build quality and design of this case, and will definitely keep Rosewill cases in mind in the future if and when I'm wanting a new case or recommending one.
Very happy with the Cullinan though Pros: - Beautiful looking - Perfect tint to allow some light through but dark enough to hide what you don't want to show off - Quiet even with all the fans on - USB 3 and USB 2 ports on top. You can never have enough IMO. Overall Review: I have to give up to Rosewill. This is a beautifully made case. Well built. Lots of extra screws. While a bit on the heavy side, and understandably so since it's made of glass, it really does scream room center piece.
It looks beautiful next to my desk and while it's not perfect, it's pretty darn close. I saw that someone say this supports E ATX. I'm not really sure how that's possible given that I put in a standard ATX motherboard and it literally barely fits with less than a few millimeters of space between it and the PSU shroud. Something to keep in mind. There is plenty of room for water cooling so no concerns there.
The shroud for cable management on the front of the motherboard is a nice touch and since it's removable makes it easy to get everything in place before placing it over everything for a nice clean look. In my opinion, the tint on this is perfect. It's dark enough that you can't see wires or parts of the case that you don't want to see but lets out enough light that you can see a pleasant glow from the inside.
Very nice. All in all this is a beautiful case. Some minor drawbacks but if someone I know is looking for a case that looks great, has plenty of room, and doesn't quite break the bank although not exactly cheap , this would be on a very short list.
Pros: Lot's of room for everything you install inside. Tinted glass instead of scratched plastic Good airflow Air filters. To start I went with h 1st and I had plenty of room to work and could have fit a larger cooling system easily and had about the easiest time ever installing it due to cases wide stature. The motherboard had plenty of room for a regular ATX and of course can accommodate an E-ATX mb , the cable routing was easily done except for in the normal spots near the back but even so with so much room to work it made a simple hiding of the cables and a very neat installation.
Video card fit nicely even with my aftermarket cooling I put on all my cards but could see whereas if I had a card with mass cooling I may have to make a few alterations but nothing harsh I run my liquid cooling pulling air from inside out so the cool magnetic mesh filter on top will not have a use but if you pull air in I must say it is the niftiest filter i have seen and you will be quite happy.
NOTE: I will remove one fan and make two bays there as I utilize additional fan controls and card readers as a normal life for me Power on and the beauty shows.. This case was one of the easier custom cases I have done with plenty of wiggle room to be had with quiet operation especially when you use the built in fan controller and just simple nice looking with just the right amount of show.
I have built at least plus systems so I appreciate an easy custom build and this was one. Because they just designed it right. They included 2X USB 3. This tempered glass is amazing and beautiful. There will be no problems there. Also the fan filters are magnetic, no weird bays that you have to partially disassemble, just put them up.
Most fan filters never are removed because they are a pain, no problems here. They also have them on the bottom for PSU dust as well. Of course no sharp edges too. Plenty of additional screws for expansion as well.
No optical bays. Not much here to complain about. Expensive but worth it for dozens of builds to come. Pros: - The 4 included LED fans. Fits my gtx strix nicely. Cons: These aren't cons for me, but can be cons for others so take it with a grain of salt if you will, but I have been researching this case for 2 months before I bought it and owned it for one before I reviewed it so I've put a lot of thought in it.
So cards that are as long as a gigabyte r9 windforce ain't gonna fit. Sorry guys. Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this to other people.
