Who is terra

He is written by many authors as the first son of Batman. In the « Apprentice » story arc, Slade forced Robin to join him, with the threat that if he did not, Slade would use nanobots he planted in the Titans to destroy them from the inside out, therefore killing them.

The first reason is that Slade felt that he was destined to come back and do something to the Titans. The second reason is that Slade is there to mentally break Robin so that he would eventually become him , whether that be by forcing Robin to be his apprentice or just generally being a menace to them. She felt betrayed when it appeared that Beast Boy shared her secret with the team , even though Robin actually realized it on his own.

Feeling betrayed and alone, Terra turned to Slade, who trained her to fully control her abilities. She is the daughter of Trigon. She grew up in an alternate dimension called Azarath. She eventually joined the Teen Titans where she first met Garfield and eventually Damian. The revelation that Terra was not just willingly working with Deathstroke, but sleeping with him, remains one of the darkest plot turns in a mainline DC comic. Terra was sixteen years old at the time of the storyline while Deathstroke was middle-aged, making him far more insidious than he would later be portrayed.

In the episode « Starfire the Terrible », she died after being bitten by the robo-piranhas. But, at the same time that our lives on Earth were being shaped by our access to technology, kilometers above us, a satellite was changing how we understood our planet.

However, Raven used her powers and defeated both of them. She made a cameo, wearing Starfire's clothes in " Lication ". Raven uses her powers and throws a car at them. Terra manages to escape, but Beast Boy is crushed. Terra is invited to a slumber party in the two-part special " Girls Night In ". For once, she seems to be friends with them, not showing any signs of future double-crossings like last time.

Beast Boy tries to flirt with her once again, but Terra crushes him with a rock. The girls dance and have fun until the crime alert interrupts them. Terra suggests going out and fight.

She successfully uses her powers against Blackfire , knocking her down. The girls seem to be victorious, but the alien threat is not over yet. She is sitting on a piano while Beast Boy plays and sings for her. A jealous Raven who comes out of nowhere pushes her out of the way. In the next scene, the original Beast Boy remembers the original Terra a stone statue , based on the events of the original Teen Titans. Terra is present in various issues of the Teen Titans Go!

Her first appearance is in issue 5 Party, Party! Terra then takes over the city with Slade, resulting in the city being abandoned by its inhabitants. As Terra reflects on her previous actions, she claims to harbor no regrets, though her tone and attitude seem to suggest otherwise.

As she travels around the vacant city, Terra secretly reminisces her time with the Titans, thinking back to several events that she was involved in during her time as a member. Terra acknowledges that the Titans are gone; but just as she says this, the Titans appear and begin to fight her, in a much more aggressive state then the last time they saw each other. They reveal to her that they now consider her just another criminal and will not stop until she is brought to justice.

Terra fights back, but is outmatched by the now determined Titans and flees as a result of being clobbered. As she escapes, Slade changes his attitude and commands her to fight back. When the Titans encounter her, she is again overpowered, and Slade releases Overload, Plasmus, and Cinderblock who form into Ternion and attack the Titans as Terra retreats back to Slade's lair.

Despite her gratitude for Slade's intervention, Terra is not received as warmly. Upon arrival at Slade's base, her master brutally attacks her while admonishing her apparent cowardice.

This makes Terra realize that Slade never really cared about her, and disgusted by Slade's cold-heartedness, Terra renounces him and tries to walk out, only to learn to her horror that the suit Slade had given her is connected to her nervous system, allowing Slade to control her like a puppet. While Slade continues to punish Terra for her defiance, Beast Boy, having tracked her to Slade's base, intervenes. Slade attacks him using Terra, eventually managing to pin Beast Boy under a large rock.

Before she can finish him off, though, the other Titans arrive, having tracked Beast Boy. With Beast Boy's insistence that it is not too late, Terra finally manages to break Slade's hold over her before attacking him, eventually creating a geokinetic blast that opens up an underground volcano, sending Slade to a fiery demise. Unfortunately, the lava threatens to consume the entire city. Knowing only she can stop it, Terra tells the others to escape.

Beast Boy tries to convince her to run, saying it is too late, but Terra simply quotes him, "It's never too late". After one final goodbye, Terra unleashes her full powers, stopping the volcano resulting in turning herself to stone. The Titans honor her sacrifice by placing a plaque in front of her statuesque form that reads "Terra. A Teen Titan. A True Friend". Upon Slade's return, the Titans are shocked to see him alive.

An injured Terra stands up off the ground and punches Slade into the lava below. Slade explains that he was later resurrected from death by the Demon Trigon , and in exchange was forced to become his servant. Upon returning from a globe-trotting adventure, Beast Boy is shocked to discover a school girl who looks exactly like Terra. Finding Terra's petrified tomb empty, Beast Boy is convinced that Terra has indeed returned - and he pleads with her to return to the team.

None of the other Titans actually meet this girl in person, yet each offers separate opinions and theories concerning her, as well as acknowledging neither Cyborg's chemical analysis nor Raven's magical mystical spells were effective in reversing the process.

It was never mentioned, but it is possible that after Trigon took over the Earth and turned everybody except the Titans to stone, Terra was reverted back to normal as well when Raven defeated her father and everybody was reverted from stone to human flesh.

But the girl insists that "things change" and she is not the girl he knew, and respecting her wishes, Beast Boy is able to let go of his own past and look toward his own future, allowing Terra to walk down her own path. While Terra is not physically present, she makes a short cameo appearance as Beast Boy remembers her while all the Titans sing a song. He is sad about her tragic "death". She appears as a statue, just like at the end of " Aftershock - Part 2 ".

Her Teen Titans Go! In Teen Titans Go! She first appears in Issue 11 " Countdown " , which takes place after she joins the team. It's a boys vs girls battle, as the Titans train. Thanks to his magic, Beast Boy is missing. Robin orders Terra and Starfire to look for him. They go down on a white limbo to search for their friend. After they get out, Terra uses her powers to crush Mumbo and stop the bank robbery. She is happy to be reunited with Beast Boy. She is seen again in Issue 20 " Secret Moves " , where she is inside Atlas 's video game. She fights against Raven. Beast Boy is surprised to see her, but Robin reminds him that it's not the real Terra.

Terra appears in Issue 34 " The Great Race " , with her school uniform. Her final appearance is in Issue 51 " Metamorphosis " , which is set after the finale of the animated series. Terra's brother, Geo-Force , arrives at Titans Tower and relates Terra's origin: she was the Princess of Markovia, and along with her brother was experimented on by sinister interests within the royal court, which gave them both earth-based superpowers. Feeling exploited and worried about the safety of her loved ones due to her lack of control, Terra ran away, leading to the events of the animated series.

At the end of the story, Geo-Force and Beast Boy consider visiting Terra at her school, but decide to let her be, as she is the happiest she has ever been. Terra is a thin girl with fair skin, big blue eyes, and black eyebrows.

Her hair is straight, blonde, and waist-length. Just like Raven , she lacks eyelashes. Sometimes when using her powers, Terra's eyes and hands glow a bright yellow. Before she joined the Titans, she wore a short-sleeved grey crop top with black sleeves, a black collar, and a black trim; a long-sleeved light-grey undershirt; short, blue cargo shorts; large brown gloves; and brown boots with beige soles and laces.

She's also seen wearing brown goggles with blue lenses, as well as a silver butterfly-shaped hair clip in some scenes. However, she lost her hair clip during her fight with the giant scorpion, until Slade returned it to her in their first meeting in the mine. When she joined the Titans, her uniform consisted of a long-sleeved black crop top with a yellow "T" encased in a yellow ring on it, small yellow shorts, large light-brown gloves, a light-brown belt, and light-brown boots with dark-brown soles and laces.

When she betrayed the Titans and joined Slade, she wears a Slade-themed outfit that covers up her whole body, except for her head. In "Things Change," she wears a school uniform, which consists of a short-sleeved white collared shirt, a black tie, a dark-blue pleated skirt, almost knee-high white socks, and black Mary Jane shoes.

Terra started out as a shy and quiet girl, but was still immediately liked by nearly everybody. She's also quite insecure. She wishes to do good with her powers, and her determination to gain control of them is evident, but her lack of existent control usually proves them to be a danger instead of a benefit, thus making her reluctant to use them.

Before Terra became a Titan , this lack of control over her powers and emotions was very evident. She had tried to put up a front of confidence, but was actually extremely afraid of people finding out how unstable she was. Among the Titans, she is closest to Beast Boy. He feels he knows the most about her and so is the most understanding towards her.

She told Beast Boy she could not control her powers and Beast Boy still welcomed her. At first, she gets along well with all the Titans except Raven.

Later, Raven develops a respect for Terra. After her return, Terra seemed to command much, much more control over her incredible earth-controlling and manipulating powers and capabilities. Beast Boy wanted to go on a date with Terra and she gladly accepted. Beast Boy and Terra are both happy and fun-loving. However, Terra is a bit naive. Slade was able to trick Terra into becoming his apprentice and annihilating the Teen Titans. She felt betrayed when it appeared that Beast Boy shared her secret with the team, even though Robin actually realized it on his own.

Feeling betrayed and alone, Terra turned to Slade , who trained her to fully control her abilities. Terra returned to the Titans and joined the team - but was secretly working with Slade to destroy the Titans from within.

Despite her mission, Terra began to doubt her loyalties; Just as romance with Beast Boy blossomed, Terra was exposed as a traitor.
