You will need a physical card with you in order to receive the Extra Care Bucks. Know what Extra Care Bucks are. Extra Care Bucks abbreviated as "ECB" are basically extra cash towards your next purchases or transactions. Typically, ECBs expire within 30 days from when they are printed. If you purchase that specific item, you will receive the value of ECBs, printed on your receipt of your transaction.
Be aware of the prescription exclusions and amount limitations. Get awarded 2 percent back for all purchases at the end of every quarter. The quarters run in January, April, July, and October of every year. Your 2 percent will be printed out on your receipt. The quarterly accumulation excludes lottery tickets, postage stamps, gift cards, alcohol, tobacco, money orders, and special ordered health care items.
Earn them through purchasing items that are attached to an ECB deal. It is the fastest and most savings method out of the three ways. Roll your ECBs correctly to maximum savings and to use them efficiently. Let's take the reward example from above with another ECB deal.
Remember that ECBs can be stacked and used with manufacturer coupons. This is a "moneymaker" because you are receiving more reward value back than what you spent.
Now I use my CVS card regularly to receive instant discounts on products, collect ExtraBucks, and receive advance notice of deals via email.
Using the card and the ExtraCare Rewards Program effectively allows me to receive free items, and sometimes even earn extra spending money.
There are two ways to acquire your own CVS card. First, you can visit your local CVS and fill out a small form with your name, address, and email. The card is attached to the form, and you can use it immediately. The other way to get one is to visit CVS. CVS will mail you a card within one week. Even if you are just an occasional CVS customer, you can benefit greatly from using this card.
Here is an example of what you might see in a store ad:. No time to shop? Use the app to order ahead, then have the order delivered straight to your car and avoid the line altogether. Any eligible ExtraCare deals and rewards will be applied to curbside pickup orders.
In addition to printing coupons for in-store purchases, you can also send offers to your ExtraCare card that will be automatically redeemed at checkout. CVS Pharmacy app users can also access exclusive app-only ExtraCare coupons that can be sent to your card to be redeemed at checkout. GC: Our pilot of this program exceeded our expectations across all metrics.
We are expanding this program ahead of schedule based on initial results from a few select markets, which shows we are seeing increases in traffic and spending levels for enrolled members that beat our projections. Q: Did certain consumer groups react to the new program offering in notable ways?
Q: What changes did you make to CarePass during the test as a result of feedback? GC: We rewarded our members with different surprise perks at key moments throughout the year. For example, members have been able to receive free sports physicals at their local MinuteClinics and free photos during the holidays. It may have also discovered a virtuous cycle. Those memberships fees will help pay for the program, but ideally will support more accurate communications and offers to its frequent members, for even healthier rewards.
Thus, it could lead to the promising pattern: the healthier the members live, the better their rewards, the more engaged they become in CarePass, and so on.
