Let me first say this, Well done with Exiles reach it is a great new zone for newbies to learn how to play the game, and I even decided to sign up to the new guide system to help said new players. And now you put it in the game great… problem is its only Available to new characters going through Exiles reach? I really hope this gets changed because as ive said I have wanted this Tabard, ever since seeing the npcs wear it in wrath. Mate I totally agree. Now I can get artisan riding for 4k gold by the time I have 4k gold.
Comment by Elord TBC heroic still not giving repo Comment by Im in zul farrak, with the tabbard on and not getting gains Any ideas? Comment by Im not getting rep from any of my horde tabards in any WotLK dungeon. Do they need to be hc dungeons or is this a bug? Comment by Alienoid25 as of 4. Comment by Yblock Keep in mind that if you are running an instance that has a faction associated with it, ie. Rather, you will gain the rep for whatever faction that is related with the instance you are doing.
Comment by jamvaru had an interesting bug Even when going 'nekkid' i still have the tabard on, though it is 'gone'. Equipping my guild tabard does nothing, the OT still shows.
Hoping this goes away or something, guess i'll have to contact bliz Comment by Zenzara Just so you know, I put in a ticket regarding the tabard not working in certain dungeons and this is the response I got from the GM. It seems that they do not work in dungeons that already give faction specific reputation gains. They city tabards won't work in the Burning Crusade dungeons and won't work in the early Wrath of the Lich King dungeons.
The tabard will start working again once you start doing the level 80 wrath of the lich king dungeons. Comment by dlbert An amazing place to farm rep is the botanica. Then pull everything up to the last boss, drop standard, aoe.
Thank you so much for you time and effort! Comment by Recalibrated This macro works in 5. Comment by Frampo Theres a mistake in "Players who kept Competitor's Tabard from many years ago can buy it on all characters at Garyle in Orgimmar and Lysea in Ironforge, according to comments. Comment by alexial1 Over my years of tabard collecting I keep returning to the addon ' Tabard Addict ' plus this guide!
The addon has a Suggestions tab which points you towards some pretty easy tabards to grab based on level, exalted reputations, etc Plus includes wowhead links to all the tabards. Comment by slugtusk About a month ago, I opened a ticket asking if I could get Tabard of the Argent Dawn restored to me.
Don't know if this is a recent change or not, but I thought I'd let people know who deleted it back in the day and now wish they still had it Comment by Highfeed Got exalted with steamwheedle, bought the tabard. I put it on and nothing happend! Does Dreanor tabards really count for the achiev? Comment by khaltak Theramore Tabard is still obtainable. It's sold by Zidormi, standing by the bridge outside Theremore for 1g.
She also sells the mini mana bomb Horde toy. Comment by Crax Just a head's up and this is a great piece by the way the Wildhammer and Dragonmaw logos need to be switched as Dragonmaw is the Horde faction and Wildhammer is the Alliance faction.
Other than that, perfect. Comment by billymm another great guide. I like the thumbnails youve added. Comment by w3maniak Location of the vendors would be nice so one does not need to click the link - "city" would be enough. Once equipped and that it has counted towards the achievement you can delete it, destroy it or sell it. In this guide I do not include the tabards that were from specific events and that can no longer be obtained, nor those that are obtained through the cards, since not all players can obtain them.
All of these tabards continue to be sold on the Tournament Grounds north of Icecrown by the mayors of the various cities, in the tents of each faction. But with the arrival of Cataclysm, mayors appeared in each city who sell their own tabards and some other things, I indicate the seller next to each tabard so that you can find it more easily.
To get these tabards you must get exalted with each of these reputations. All these tabards, in addition to finding them in the mayors of each of the factions, you can also buy them in the tabard sellers that you will find in the main cities. These tabards you can buy once you are friendly with their corresponding factions, easy.
Although this time to get them you will have to go find their respective mayors. They will also help you to increase your reputation with them by making level 80 dungeons with the tabard equipped.
The next two tabards can only be obtained when you are exalted with both factions. The quartermasters can be found on the Icecrown Tournament Grounds, in the Alliance or Horde stores respectively. As with the first tabards that we noted about Wrath's reputation, these tabards can be purchased once you are friendly with their features.
